busy busy busy

All apologies...
Yes I have not kept up with the blog and I have not answered my e-mail. I am a loser.

On the other hand, I have had something like seven job interviews, one translation job after another, I've been applying for not one but two mortgages and I've been organizing my upcoming wedding.

These are all things that have kept me relatively off line for the last couple of weeks. Hopefully, things will improve next week, but I can't be sure. Righ now my Outlook calendar (and yes, I've had to start using a planner as I've forgotten important meetings and stuff recently) is full.

On that note:
I never used to forget and you would think that my memory would have been worst senior year of college, when I was high, oh I don't know, every single freaking day! But no, now I forget shit easily and have to keep a calendar, somehting I prided myself on not doing.
Now I'm not going to go off on the "I'm getting old" tangent, because that's not an excuse. What's worse is that I'm just not able to keep as much informaiton at beck and call as I used to be able to do and this, more than anything else, simply pisses me off.
So I'm now stuck with my Outlook calendar and frankly, with the death of my mobile phone, I'm hoping to get a new one that I can synchronize with my computer to make sure I don't forget anything. How much of a loser does that make me?

Anyway, coming soon:
my long awaited (at least for me) diatribe on the culture of want (going to get serious)
a possible change in jobs to let you know about (sell out ,baby, all the way...)
a presentation of my new apartment, as they build it over the next couple of years
the Czech hockey playoffs
getting tickets to World Cup 2006 in Germany
movies, TV and so much more...

Also, to any of my Czech readers, I've been kicking around the idea of a Czehc-language blog for some time. I think I'm going to start work on it (once I answer all my e-mail and stuff) as some of you have asked my to write in Czech. No making fun of my grammar though...

That's that for now... back to the grind and I hope to catch up with eveything asap.
